Stand taken by Kings Cross Steelers is fully endorsed

The management and players of East London RFC and East London Vixens ladies are proud to support the stance taken by our clubhouse friends Kings Cross Steelers RFC in their condemnation of recent comments made by Australian international Israel Folau and England player Billy Vunipola.
The lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender community is an important and integral part of the East London RFC family. We believe in rugby's core value of respect for all and are committed to ensuring our club offers an inclusive and welcoming environment for everyone.
We have had a long and harmonious relationship with the Steelers, the world's first gay and inclusive rugby team, who share our facilities at the Memorial Ground in West Ham. We continue to support them and other campaigns, such as the Stonewall charity's Rainbow Laces initiative, that stand up to homophobia in sport.
