Members of East London Rugby Club swapped scoring tries for the small screen when they appeared in the third episode of this season’s Rugby Tonight series on BT Sport.
The show featured the players alongside presenters Sarra Elgan, Ugo Monye, Ben Cohen, Austin Healey, and studio guest Bath and England’s Anthony Watson.
Among items discussed on the programme was the similarity in skills between rugby and American football. The regular skills demonstration was how to take the high ball from kick-off.
East London players who made the trip to the BT Studios in Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park where the show was aired on 13 September were Felix Arnold, Nick Parrott, Ben Hogan, Bill Brown, Jack McAllister, Ian Needham, Ryan Exley and Stephen Beattie.
