CLUB ELECTS MANAGEMENT FOR SEASON 2025/26

Roles and responsibilities and committee structure agreed

East London Rugby Football Club has selected its senior management who will serve during season 2025/26.

Elections into a number of roles were carried out at the Annual General Meeting on Saturday 7th June at the clubhouse in Memorial Park, West Ham. A number of people were also co-opted into positions on the General Committee.

The meeting had an update on activity throughout the 2024/25 season as well as the plans and priorities for the forthcoming campaign. There were reports on playing and training, club finance, communications, youth, and social matters. Importantly, club members had the opportunity to ask questions and offer feedback on club affairs.

Returning as Co-Chairs at the helm are Nick Parrott and Kat Salthouse, with Frank Murphy switching from Club Captain to Vice-Chair.

The 2025/26 East London RFC management is:

• President - Nick Bracken (honorary appointed)
• Co-Chairs - Kat Salthouse, Nick Parrott (elected)
• Vice-Chair - Frank Murphy (elected)
• Director of Rugby - Eddie Gooby (co-opted)
• Club Captain - Andy Davenport (elected)
• Interim Secretary - Gary Bird (elected - to be reviewed quarterly)
• Treasurer - Darragh O’Kelly (elected)
• Communications Officers - Megan Hogg, Leonard Jennings (elected)
• Social Secretaries - Cian Hussami, John Salthouse, Katie Robinson, Deepti Davenport (elected)
• Women’s Rugby Officer - vacant (elected)
• Membership Secretary - Darragh O’Kelly (co-opted)
• Fixtures/Referees Secretaries - Eddie Gooby, Nicola Barlex (co-opted)
• Safeguarding Officer - Katie Robinson (co-opted)
• Discipline Officers - Nick Parrott, Kat Salthouse (co-opted)
• Mental Health and Wellbeing Officers – John Salthouse, Rachael McMeekin (co-opted)
• Rugby Safe Officer - Jack Topping (co-opted)
• Youth Officer - Graham Jones (co-opted)
• Data Officer - Darragh O’Kelly (co-opted)
• Team Captains - to be appointed (co-opted).
