Second team the Wyverns and 3rd team the Thirsty Thirds are both in action thanks to their respective finishes in the Group 1 Automotive Essex Merit Table divisions.

The Wyverns finished the regular season second in Division 3 West with 55 points from 14 games and play a home semi-final against third place Ilford Wanderers at the Memorial Ground in West Ham. Kick-off is at 3pm. League winners Bancroft play fourth placed Upminster 2s in the other semi-final.

The 3rd XV finished the regular season third in the Division 4 West table with 25 points from eight games and face an away game at second placed Old Brentwoods 2. Kick-off is at 2.30pm. League winners Wanstead 3s host Eton Manor 4s in the other semi-final.

The winners of all the semi-finals will compete for their respective divisional Cups being staged at Rochford Hundred RFC on Saturday 16 March.

Away from Cup action, the East London 1st XV travel to Chingford on Saturday in a Counties 1 Essex league match. The maroon and blues are fourth in the table with 53 points from 18 matches against opponents who are eleventh from 17 games with 24 points. Kick-off is at 2.30pm.
