East London RFC has congratulated first team hooker Senad Kurtaj who has made his debut for the Albania national side.
Senad was called up to play against Kosovo and took to the pitch on 15th March in in Istog, western Kosovo. He capped his successful debut with two tries in an 88-0 win.
East London RFC Director of Rugby Eddie Gooby said: “Everyone at the club congratulates Senad on his first cap. We hope this is just the start of his international career. His dedication, power and skill have earned him this moment and we couldn’t be prouder.”
Senad said: “I am learning so much at East London Rugby Club. I thank all the coaches and players who are helping me along the way. This is the beginning of my journey with Team Albania and I will keep pushing hard for more success.”
