East London maintain there great form with this away win

10-17 away victory closes gap between sides to two points
An outstanding second-half performance saw East London come from behind in the closing minutes to record their second win in a week against Chelmsford on their own patch.
Coach Eddie Gooby was buzzing after the hard fought 17-10 win. He said: "Beating Chelmsford in the Essex Intermediate Cup last week was satisfying but today keeps us in with a chance of a Cup and promotion double. We showed great character and determination to beat a very good side."
With just six games to go third place East London are only two points behind Gooby's former side Chelmsford in London 3 Essex.
The first half hour of the match was nip and tuck with East London looking to take advantage of first use of a downward sloping pitch. Twice they almost breached the try line but were foiled by solid defence or fumbles at vital moments. Despite territorial possession they went behind to a penalty from a rare break by the home side. Fly-half Ryan Billinghurst responded five minutes later with a penalty in front of the posts and the scores were level at the break.
East London were behind again on 50 minutes. A converted try gave Chelmsford a 10-3 lead. From that moment the East London forwards began to dominate as they had done in the Cup fixture the week before.
Sustained pressure by the visitors earned them a succession of penalties close to the line. The persistent foul play resulted in one Chelmsford player yellow carded on 65 minutes and another three minutes for back-chatting the referee.
With ten minutes remaining East London got the try their play deserved. Number eight Dan Bracken picked up the ball from a scrum on the five-metre line and slipped a pass to scrum-half Will Brown to score. Billinghurst converted to level the scores.
The visitors continue to exert pressure and draw more penalties from the home defence. From one such penalty on 76 minutes a kick at goal was declined in favour of a scrum. The ball was won and fed to inside centre Bill Brown on the burst and he scored. Billinghurst converted. East London then wound down the clock for the win.
