A respectable loss to a team 4 leagues above.

Today East London Ladies played Hammersmith and Fulham Ladies in a friendly. Despite playing a team who are top of their division and at least 4 leagues above, the ladies ran in 5 tries for a very respectable 53 - 29 loss. East London were in touch all the way until the experience and fitness of a team who have been unbeaten since 2011 and train twice a week, showed in the last 20mins. Well done ladies. Here's to flying up those rankings to compete as equals in a few years!
